Originally composed in 2007, Flashbomb jumpstarted SPIZM out of a hiatus that resulted in the recording of B4uDie in Nov 2007 and later Lay Low and the Movements studio album recorded in April 2008. SPIZM has plans to release the original version on Bandcamp as part of the Flashbomb maxi single (stay posted). In the meantime, this is a modern 2021-2022 pandemic fueled iteration that pictures a bleak apocalyptic landscape after nuclear holocaust.
Album cover by Diego Blanco "Man Playing Guitar in a post apocalyptic Scenario"
lyrics
Flashbomb total war
Flashing wrecking all total storm
Flashbomb total war
Jigsaw wrecking all blank tomorrow
Ahhhh
Flashbomb
Flashbomb total war
Flashing wrecking all ride the storm
Flashbomb total war
Flashbomb wrecking all run the blur
Of the people in the world today
There's only a fraction that have something to say
Flip the mic, make a Molotov cocktail
Bust the door down, throw it right through the window
Making that mark, make that bank, hit the form, buy that tank
Twist that knife, form your pack, get it back
Nothing makes them fear more than normal people getting in
That's the secret just like rats of Nimh
Of the people in the world today
There's only a fraction that have something to say
Flip the mic, make a Molotov cocktail
Bust the door down, throw it right through the window
Making that mark, make that bank, hit the form, buy that tank
Twist that knife, form your pack, get it back
Nothing makes them fear more than normal people getting in
That's the secret just rats of Nimh
Flashbomb total war
Flash all break control wreak alarm
Flashbomb total war
Flashbomb it's the end of the world
Of the people in the world today
There's only a fraction that have something to say
Flip the mic, make a Molotov cocktail
Bust the door down, throw it right through the window
Throw it right through the window
Throw it right through the window
