Ricochet is a collaboration between SPIZM and vocalist Nikki Patin, featuring MC RP (Greenlights Music). The journey spans 2 vocal recording sessions with producer Spiz (aka Dave Marsalek) tracking Nikki Patin (late Sept 2022 and early Sept 2023). Originally composed on a Yamaha synthesizer June 2022, Ricochet (originally entitled AHH) has taken an extraordinary journey from a raw idea to final cut track. This song is coming from the soft spot of the belly of the beast, tracking the emotions that stem from our ability as humans to be hurting deeply inside, struggling with constant internal turmoil and emotional chaos, yet on the surface seem fine, a polished verneer and charade.
